Today I felt like I was losing traction.  I managed to finish drafting yesterday, and even managed to cut out all the fabric for the sundress.  I was all set to start in on it - but then I didn't have the right matching thread color.  Doh!  So I set that aside, and planned to start the next morning on Dana's adorable Market Skirt that I had cut out for Lily earlier.
Sick Baby Girl

But it was not to be - I have a sick little girl! Any mamas reading this know that her blank stare and pale skin but rosy cheeks is a sign of a sick little one.  This is how we spent much of the day.  "I want cuddles!"  And if you know my little girl - that phase is rarely (nearly never) uttered.  She is not a cuddler - she has too many things to do.  So a big sewing day was not to be.  But I'll take the cuddles instead!  I did manage to get a tiny bit of sewing done during her naptime, and maybe I can get a little more done after the kiddos bedtime. Hopefully Lily will feel a little better tomorrow.

Oh! On a handmade note - the top Lily is currently wearing I made for her when she was 6 months old (as a dress).  And yep - she's still wearing it at two years old (although now it's a shirt) My little ones seem to stretch but they don't get very much wider as they get older!

Also - Future Lily - I am sorry for posting a photo of you so miserable looking.  But now I have photographic evidence that I did indeed get a few cuddles out of you!
